“Benjamin “Ben” Brewster has been appointed to serve as State Master Councilor for the 2025-2026 term. His journey with DeMolay began at the 2019 Idaho Conclave. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership since his initiation six years ago, notably leading Treasure Valley Chapter for two terms and holds the title of Past Master Councilor.
Ben initially joined the Order of DeMolay to share experiences with his older brother, Mathew. However, he quickly grew to appreciate the organization’s commitment to community service, citing it as his favorite aspect.
Ben is a graduating high school senior and will begin his college education in August 2025 at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. He plans to pursue an Associate Degree of Applied Sciences in Diesel Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration. His long-term goal is to own and operate his own diesel repair shop.
Beyond DeMolay and academics, Ben enjoys athletics and is an outfielder and base runner for his high school’s varsity baseball team. Given his enthusiasm for baseball, Ben plans to integrate his passion for the sport into his leadership role in DeMolay. He has chosen “Swing for the Fence” as the theme for his term and is actively developing a program to empower Idaho DeMolay to achieve outstanding success.
Finally, Ben has selected the Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) as his service project in honor of his little sister, Anna. He envisions a year of significant growth, accomplishments, and fun for the organization.”
